UPDATE: 3/17/20 March & April 2020

As we continue to experience the impact of the coronavirus, also known as COVID-19, we would like to share with you our plan in response to this outbreak.

Due to current information from public health officials and in the interest of protecting our staff and patrons
as of Tuesday, March 17 the library building will be closed to patrons and all programming suspended.

We will continue to operate during regular hours, except Saturdays, and we encourage our patrons to reach out through phone (580-924-3486 press 1) and email (library@durant.org) for questions, concerns, and requests.

We will be manning the phones and drive thru window on the west side to serve our patrons. You can check in or out materials, have copies made, scan items to emails, print off papers or emails, fax, hand out food bags, give out hygiene items, and help you in whatever way we can!

We will be suspending fines as well as our “one time renewal” policy through April 30. This will help those who cannot or choose not to travel. Remember that we have drop boxes on the West side of the building for those who do not wish to come inside the library.
