Beginning Tuesday, June 1 the meal program will transition to Tuesdays & Thursdays from 10:00am – 3:00pm in the library’s CC Meeting Room next to the theater.  Meals must be eaten on site and are for kids under 18 yrs old.  This coincides with our Summer Reading Program but you do NOT have to participate in that program in order to get a meal.

The Oklahoma Food Bank has given sites permission to hand out meals “to go”  and the library will be an evening meal site.  You can come through the far west side, drive thru window, between 4:00pm and 6:00pm to grab a meal and snack for each child.  There are no sign ups and the only requirement is that the meals be for children.  Most of these meals will need to be heated up as they are “dinner foods” but also come with milk and a snack bag.

Example meals are: corn dog bites, lasagna, chicken nuggets, and pb&j uncrustables all with sides, milk, and a snack bag.
